Music Teacher

You would be working in a vibrant and highly successful Performing Arts department teaching Music across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is exceptionally well-resourced and benefits from dedicated rehearsal rooms, recording facilities, music technology suites and performance spaces that support a wide range of musical activities.

Students are enthusiastic about Music and actively participate in choirs, orchestras, ensembles and school productions. The curriculum develops practical performance skills, composition techniques and musical analysis, allowing students to explore a diverse range of genres and traditions.

The department has a strong record of examination success and places significant emphasis on creativity, confidence and performance. Students regularly perform in concerts and showcases, and many progress to study Music and Performing Arts at university level.

Teachers work collaboratively to develop engaging lessons and enrichment opportunities while ensuring students of all abilities are supported and challenged.
