On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Brighton, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join their faculty. This full-time, permanent position commencing ASAP and presents an exceptional opportunity to nurture musical talent and instil a lifelong love of music in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical appreciation, performance skills, and theoretical understanding.


• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.


• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.


• Lead and contribute to school ensembles, choirs, and musical productions, creating enriching extracurricular opportunities for students.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and wider school community to enhance the music program and promote a vibrant musical culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.


• A strong understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.
