Music Teacher Position in Birmingham: Inspire the Next Generation of Musicians

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a love of music and developing the musical talents of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can explore various musical genres and express their creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver inspiring and comprehensive music lessons that align with the national curriculum.


• Cultivate students' musical skills through instrumental instruction, vocal training, and music theory.


• Prepare students for performances, examinations, and auditions.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a vibrant music program within the school.


• Stay abreast of current trends and developments in music education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.


• Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.


• Proficiency in at least one musical instrument, with the ability to teach others.


• A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring students.
