An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join their Music department. This is a full-time, permanent Music Teacher position teaching Key Stage 5.

Music Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.


• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.


• Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.


• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Music department.


• Be part of an Outstanding team of Music Teachers.

Music Teachers Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• A degree in Music or a closely related subject.


• Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary or post-16 level.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• The desire to work as a Music Teacher.
