Position Summary

This is a unique opportunity to inspire a love of music in young learners and cultivate their musical talents. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  Designing and delivering engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of music and promoting musical literacy.


• 
  Developing a comprehensive and diverse curriculum that aligns with the national curriculum standards and the school's ethos.


• 
  Creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical abilities and express their creativity.


• 
  Assessing student progress through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• 
  Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the school's music program, including organizing concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification


• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level


• Strong proficiency in at least one musical instrument, with the ability to teach both theoretical and practical aspects of music


• A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering musical talent in students
