About the Music Teacher Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our thriving Creative Arts department. You will be responsible for teaching Music at A Level, helping students explore their musical talents and deepen their understanding of music theory and performance.

Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Music lessons.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the growth and development of the Music curriculum.


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Participate in both departmental and school-wide activities, including school performances.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).


• A degree in Music or a related field.


• Experience teaching Music at the secondary school level.


• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and A Level specifications.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
