The contract will include a mixture of full MVHR unit replacements, routine servicing and filter changes across occupied residential properties. Work will be paid on a price-work basis, with the opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. Key responsibilities Replace existing MVHR units and associated components. Service and maintain mechanical ventilation and heat-recovery systems. Complete routine filter changes. Diagnose basic faults and identify any required remedial work. Check system operation, airflow and controls following completion. Complete job records and report additional defects accurately. Work professionally and respectfully in occupied properties. Complete all work safely and to the required standard. Requirements Previous experience working with MVHR or domestic mechanical ventilation systems. Experience replacing, servicing and maintaining ventilation equipment. Good practical fault-finding ability. Own tools, transport and suitable insurance. Full UK driving licence. Ability to manage a daily workload and complete documentation accurately. Professional manner when dealing with residents and clients. A domestic ventilation qualification, commissioning experience or previous social-housing experience would be advantageous. This is an ongoing subcontract opportunity offering regular price-work assignments and earning potential of approximately £250–£350 per day, depending on the volume and type of work completed.
