Are you a kind and experienced nanny with a flair for housekeeping and a love of outdoor play? A warm and welcoming family in Nantwich is looking for a dedicated weekend nanny and housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to combine childcare and household support in a consistent, well-structured role.

About the Role:
You'll be working every week on a rotating schedule:

Weekend 1 (Nanny Duties): Friday, Saturday & Sunday  7am-7pm

Weekend 2 (Housekeeping Duties): Saturday & Sunday  10am-4pm

The family has a happy, active little boy aged 2 years  who loves being outdoors whether he's swinging in the garden, exploring his tipi, or helping in the kitchen. You'll be stepping into a well-established, supportive household with a weekday nanny who speaks very highly of the family and the role.

As a Nanny (Weekend 1), your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate, enriching activities, with a strong emphasis on outdoor play

• Supporting his early years development through play and gentle guidance

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks

• Ensuring smooth nap and bedtime routines

• Providing loving, hands-on care with consistency and enthusiasm

As a Housekeeper (Weekend 2), your responsibilities will include:

• General housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and organisation

• Keeping communal areas and the child's play spaces clean and well-organised

• Ensuring the home is running smoothly for the week ahead

• The family employ a housekeeper during the week too

• Location: Nantwich, Cheshire

• Schedule:  Weekends as detailed above 

• Salary: £20-£23 gross per hour (depending on experience)

• Start Date: As soon as the right person is found

• Pets: The family has a friendly dog, so pet comfort is important

Who Theyre Looking For:

A warm, experienced nanny who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers

Someone who brings energy, initiative, and reliability to both childcare and housekeeping duties

A candidate happy to work collaboratively alongside the weekday nanny

A detail-oriented housekeeper with a proactive approach and pride in their work

Occasional travel with the family would be a bonus, but is not essential

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain we can help)

• Paediatric First Aid Certificate

• Strong, checkable references

• Relevant childcare experience and/or qualifications

• A driver with access to their own car

• Comfortable with the family's pet dog
