National Account Executive

Upto £38k + Bonus + Car Allowance

Strive Supply Chain are a leading management recruitment consultancy, specialising in Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Logistics, Transport & Warehouse Operations and Sales.

Our client is a major FMCG distributor in the UK. We are delighted to assist them in their search for a National Account Executive to support the management and development of a key customer.

As National Account Executive, you will be critical in creating a positive experience for the customer’s businesses to grow, through proactive analytical processes and positive stakeholder engagement.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

• Support with completion of new product listing forms, agreement forms, change of terms, price calculators etc.
• Support with added value documents, baskets, costing, credit checks etc.
• Contacting prospective customers, arranging appointments and maintaining the development of prospects and growth opportunities including strategic pillar opportunities and consolidation.
• Focusing on reducing nominated/slow moving lines within the sectors/business.
• Compare customer ranges to identify similar/suitable products which would drive commerciality and reduce products.
• Development and maintaining a portfolio of accounts within the sector. Continually maximise opportunities within the ever-growing sector and managing relevant processes for the customer.

Ideal Person for National Account Executive:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
• Analytical and commercially aware
• Strong organisational skills, hard-working and the ability to work under pressure
