Pip & Nut is a rapidly growing award-winning food brand with big ambitions; in just nine years we’ve scaled to over 20,000 points of distribution with listings in high-end stores like Wholefoods & Selfridges as well as major retailers like Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Coop, ASDA & Morrisons. We are the fastest growing nut butter brand in the UK & a challenger brand in snacking. We supply our Nut Butters to the likes of Café Nero, Pret & Leon. With this exciting growth we make sure it’s not to the detriment of people or planet and profit and as a result we’re proud to say we’re a certified B-corporation since 2019.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual to play a pivotal part in shaping our success in the Out Of Home space.

We have seen great success in grocery with our Nut Butters. Our Chocolate Nut Butter Cups and soon to launch new products in snacking are key to winning in Out Of Home. It'll be your job to help get these into as many hands as possible, through engaging with some of our key wholesalers. You'll be supported in this by best in class products along with marketing assets and operational support.

In a nutshell, you are responsible for:

Account management
Winning New Business
P&L management & financial reporting
Customer Engagement
Operations support
Customer admin management
Admin support

In more detail, this means:

Managing a pool of accounts. These will be from the Wholesale & Foodservice end users.
Winning great new stocking points in your key customers, and identifying and winning exciting further distribution opportunities for the brand.
Managing the P&L for your customers. Accurately reporting on performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, identifying opportunities for growth and troubleshooting areas of concern.
Working with marketing and the Senior National Account Manager to find creative ideas to engage existing and new customers.
Complete a monthly re-forecast for your customers, attending weekly Sales and Ops meetings and supporting the operations team with anything they require for your customers.
All customer admin is completed on time. This includes loading promotions, submitting any customer investment and agreeing annual plans.
Occasionally be asked to support the wider sales team on an ad hoc basis with customer admin. This could include new line forms, reporting, raising invoices etc.
Represent both our brand values and those of B-Corp in everything you do.
Play an active role in ensuring our workplace culture is best in class.

Specific knowledge, qualifications, skills & experience required:

Team player – Both internally and externally, being part of a team will be essential to making this role a success.

Highly Organised – Managing several tasks at once and meeting deadlines is a key requirement for this role.

Adaptable – You’ll be asked to learn new processes and manage various customers. A curious and adaptable nature is a must.

Competitive – You’ll thrive working in a team environment and showing what your capable of. Winning new listings is essential. You’ll constantly strive to grow your accounts and put Pip & Nut on the map.

Passionate – You’ll enjoy promoting our products to your customers and get a real buzz out of winning new stocking points.

Previous experience with food and drink – You may have previously worked as a brand ambassador or even have some experience working in food and drink. You’ll have a good commercial eye and be able to spot an opportunity and seize the moment.

We are happy to reimburse travel expenses to and from the interviews where necessary.
