Job Description - National account manager

Futures are working on an exciting National Account Manager role on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing FMCG business.

This business has a great reputation in the market for their recent EU expansion, impressive company branding and their exciting and consistent new product development launches.

With a global turnover of 100m+ this business have strong values based around embracing change, striving for excellence, entrepreneur spirit and integrity.

Reporting in to the Channel Director, you will be tasked with overseeing the businesses top-tier accounts within High Street and Pharmacy.

This is an exciting stand alone National Account Manager role, with full autonomy over the channel.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and execute strategic plans and identify.

Key Duties Include: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts; Boots, Superdrug and National/Regional Pharmacy chains Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic account plans that align with company objectives and customer needs Negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms of trade to maximize profitability and market share Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of account strategies Monitor and manage account performance against targets, making adjustments as needed to achieve sales and profit objectives Prepare and present regular business reviews and forecasts to senior management and key stakeholders Key Skills/Experience Required: A minimum of 4 years experience within National Accounts, with experience of managing Boots or Superdrug Strong understanding of the FMCG/health and beauty industry, including market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitive landscape Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships Personable, autonomous and ambitious working style Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions What's in it for you?
