National Account Manager - Private Label

2 days in Southeast Head Office p/week

£55-60k basic (DoE) + car allowance, bonus, healthcare and pension

About Our Client:

  • A leading Private Label Foods business, known for innovation and quality.
  • Ambitious and growth-focused, with a strong presence in the FMCG sector.
  • Now seeking a dynamic National AccountManager to manage a key food retailer.

The Role:

  • As National Account Manager, you will report into the National Account Controller for this key account, with full P&L and JBP responsibility for part of this #1 customer
  • You will work cross functionally to deliver their Retailer Own Brand strategy for this customer.
  • Owning execution of plans focusing on core range, NPD listings, distribution gaps, and promotional activities.
  • Lead range review negotiations with category insights and support.
  • Forecast financial performance and analyse post-activity results to drive future success.
  • Report weekly performance, providing detailed variance analysis.

What We're Looking For:

  • Private label experience - Operating at National Account Manager level with substantial experience in developing Private Label customer partnerships, particularly with major retailers in Grocery and premium food retailers.
  • Commercially driven - We're seeking individuals with experience in FMCG Customer Management with direct P&L ownership or within a Customer Account team part managing the JBP for grocery retailers.
  • Industry knowledge - Exceptional understanding of Food & Drink commercial best practices and outstanding communication skills.
