About the Role
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is recruiting a National Contact Point (NCP) Cluster 6 - Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and the Environment, part of Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe.
Based within the Horizon Europe Engagement Team in UKRI International, the role will be responsible for delivering support for UK-based participants in the Cluster 6 Work Programme and the Ocean and Soils Missions.
As a recognised expert, you will work as part of the Cluster 6 NCP team providing authoritative advice, guidance and practical support to UK potential applicants, beneficiaries and funded projects across the full project lifecycle. The post supports delivery of Cluster 6 NCP services on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade. (DBIST). Responsibilities span awareness-raising, training, stakeholder engagement, policy monitoring and collaboration with the wider European NCP network. The role involves regular engagement with UK partners and European institutions, contributions to communications and briefings, and requires excellent communication and networking skills, confidence presenting to diverse audiences, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
