Hours: 8am to 5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am to 12pm Friday (37 hours)

Are you an experienced NDT Radiographer looking to join a specialist engineering team working on safety-critical components?

Syntech Recruitment are partnered with an established engineering business to support their search for an NDT Level 2 Radiographer. This is a key role within their NDT and Pyro Assembly department, responsible for performing radiographic inspections and other non-destructive tests to ensure product integrity.

NDT Level 2 Radiographer Responsibilities:

• Perform digital x-ray inspections of assembled cartridge and rocket motors
  
  
• Interpret radiographic images to identify defects
  
  
• Conduct leak testing using mass spectrometry (Veeco)
  
  
• Accurately mark production and test data onto components
  
  
• Adhere to strict safety procedures, including explosive safety systems
  
  
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Production Control, and Stores teams
  
  
• Support continuous improvement through 5S practices
  
  

NDT Level 2 Radiographer Profile:

• ASNT Level 2 Radiography certification (essential)
  
  
• Proven experience in NDT within a manufacturing environment
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and test documentation
  
  
• Strong PC skills and familiarity with digital x-ray systems
  
  
• Experience with SAP (desirable)
  
  
• Understanding of explosive handling protocols (desirable)
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
