Key Responsibilities:
Act as the NEC4 Project Manager, administering the contract and ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled in accordance with NEC4 processes. Lead the successful delivery of the cycle route scheme, managing programme, risk, quality, cost, and change throughout the project lifecycle. Build strong working relationships with the Local Authority, contractors, designers, statutory undertakers, and other key stakeholders. Manage early warnings, compensation events, communications, and project reporting to support informed decision-making. Promote a collaborative, proactive approach that delivers the project safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Essential Experience:
NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation is essential. Proven experience acting as an NEC4 Project Manager on highways, civil engineering, or transport infrastructure projects. Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contract administration, including early warnings, compensation events, programme assessment, and change management. Experience delivering Local Authority or public sector infrastructure schemes, ideally within active travel or cycling projects. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to build collaborative working relationships.
