About the Role
We are recruiting four Neighbourhood Development Officers and are looking for proactive individuals to join our Neighbourhood Partnerships Team. You will work closely with citizens, community groups and partners to ensure communities have a strong voice in place based, community led working - shaping local services and neighbourhood priorities, creating meaningful two-way dialogue between citizens and the Council. The role focuses on promoting community engagement, involvement and empowerment, supporting the development of strong partnerships and delivering co-produced projects and events that strengthen community cohesion.
Working across a wide range of partners including Nottingham City Council services, Nottingham City Housing Services, Community Protection, Nottinghamshire Police, Fire and Rescue Service, the NHS and the voluntary sector, you will demonstrate leadership within neighbourhoods and area-based teams, helping to develop and deliver integrated ward action plans that address local priorities and improve outcomes for residents.
