Hourly rate: £30.95ph UmbrellaWe are recruiting on behalf of a large housing association for a Neighbourhood Management Officer based in Thanet, Kent. This role is crucial in managing a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed tenure properties, enhancing the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of our customers. As the face of the organisation in the community, you will lead and manage the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring compliance with all regulations and delivering on our customer commitments and wider corporate strategy.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Proactively manage approximately 650 properties and surrounding estates.
Conduct estate inspections and manage building safety, tenancy queries, and community safety concerns such as anti-social behaviour and safeguarding.
Build positive working relationships with customers, engaging them through regular communication and responding to queries.
Manage all legal requirements relating to the tenancy or lease, including tenancy changes, leasehold management, serving notices, and court work.
Complete and document all related compliance needs on your patch, such as fire risk assessment actions.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to address building maintenance, safety, and access issues.
Lead and coordinate an estate taskforce where needed and deliver on estate-level action plans.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in housing and tenancy management.
Strong understanding of current housing law and regulations.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
IT-savvy, comfortable with tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, and mobile technology.
Hold or willing to work towards a relevant Ofqual-regulated qualification Level 3 or higher in Housing Management or a foundation degree from the Chartered Institute of Housing.
