About the role and what you'll be doing:

This will be a hands-on technical role as one of our .NET Consultants. You will be joining a cross-functional team of highly skilled and like-minded individuals, helping to build the backend solution on one of our projects and assisting that client to realise the business benefit of an investment in the cloud.

You will be working across the full project lifecycle, delivering testable technical solutions in the form of high-quality code in .NET Core. You will be involved in all other aspects of an agile project, from estimating to retrospectives. You might also be involved in presenting technical topics to your team or coaching more junior colleagues, depending on project needs.

You will be a self-starter, proactive in your project work and your career, including identifying your training needs and planning to fill them with the help of your training budget.

What you’ll bring to Ensono Digital:

We are looking for passionate developers who have a proactive attitude and can interact effectively within a team. You will also need the following skills and experience:

• Developing in .NET Core


• Practicing TDD


• Working with software configuration management, CI and versioning strategies


• Working with different frameworks, such as .ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API


• Understanding of objective-orientated design patterns


• Familiarity with HTTP concepts


• Understanding of RESTful interfaces


• Working with source control


• Understanding of the purpose of databases


• Understanding of business and client requirements and an ability to articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences


• Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating and working with stakeholders
