About the Role:

We're looking for a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join our growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Preston, this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting digital transformation projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

You'll be working across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of scalable .NET applications that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI, and DevOps
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
  Strong understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Angular
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
