Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Support Engineer
Location: West London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

My client are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in West London, seeking a skilled and proactive Audio Visual (AV) Support Engineer to join there technical services team. This role involves supporting AV and IT systems across a variety of client sites, including offices, meeting spaces, and hybrid collaboration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support AV systems including video conferencing, display screens, control panels, and audio systems

• Troubleshoot AV and IT-related issues onsite and remotely

• Maintain and support collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex

• Collaborate with the internal IT and projects teams to ensure smooth deployment of AV solutions

• Document systems, configurations, and support activities accurately

• Provide high-quality client support with a focus on efficiency and professionalism

Key Technologies:

• Crestron, Extron, QSC, and Poly systems

• Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms

• Cisco video conferencing solutions

• Digital signage, large-format displays, and AV-over-IP systems

• Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE switches)

• Windows OS and Microsoft 365 (basic troubleshooting)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an AV engineer or technical support role

• Proven experience with AV installation, troubleshooting, and client-facing support

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Full UK driving licence preferred

Desirable Certifications:

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)

• Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS manufacturer training

• CompTIA Network+ or similar networking certifications
