Network and Communications Engineer

I’m recruiting a senior Network and Communications Engineer to support the delivery of secure, resilient communications systems on one of the UK's most significant engineering programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex projects involving operational networks, telephony, radio communications, wireless technologies and critical ICT infrastructure within a highly regulated environment. This role will require you to work on site for 3 days per week.

What You'll Do

Design and deliver communications and network solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Develop resilient architectures covering telephony, radio, networking and operational communications systems.
Collaborate with engineering, IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, compliant solutions.
Produce technical specifications, design documentation and engineering standards.
Provide technical leadership and support supplier management activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience in telecoms, ICT, communications systems or network engineering.
Strong knowledge of enterprise or operational networks, telephony and communications infrastructure.
Background in highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Utilities or Critical National Infrastructure.
Knowledge of Cisco networking, radio systems, wireless technologies or cybersecurity principles is advantageous.
