Network Architect - Fortinet | Retail | Hybrid (Leeds 2x/week) | Up to £90,000

We're working with a rapidly growing, fast-paced retail organisation based in Leeds that’s undergoing a major transformation across its technology landscape. As they continue to scale, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of their network infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise to shape the future of the business's network architecture and contribute to critical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As Network Architect, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end design and strategy of the network environment. Working closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams, you’ll deliver secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions that support business growth and modernisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing high-level and low-level network architecture (HLD/LLD)
• Leading the definition of network strategy, standards, and best practices
• Providing architectural oversight across network infrastructure projects
• Working with Fortigate Firewalls, Virtual Networks, and Security Groups
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align technology with business goals
• Supporting the adoption of future technologies across infrastructure and networks

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience designing enterprise network solutions
• In-depth expertise with Fortigate Firewalls and network security best practices
• Solid knowledge of Virtual Networks and Security Groups (particularly within hybrid or cloud-connected environments)
• Demonstrated experience in both HLD and LLD creation
• A background in Network Engineering with a strategic mindset
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
