Network Design Engineer

My client is seekingan experienced Network Design Engineer to support a major FX trading platformprogramme. The role will focus on the design, implementation and enhancement ofcomplex, low-latency network infrastructure within a large-scale financial marketsenvironment.

£700 per day (InsideIR35)
London (Hybrid, 3days per week)
12 Month Contract

Key Requirements

Demonstrableexperience in a Network Design Engineer, Network Architect or Senior NetworkEngineer role
Strong enterprisenetwork design and implementation experience within large-scale environments
Deep understandingof routing and switching technologies
Proven experiencedesigning and supporting multicast network environments
Strong firewallexpertise across Fortinet, Palo Alto and/or Check Point
Extensive F5 LoadBalancer experience
Experience workingwith NAT technologies, including source NAT and destination NAT
Previous experiencedelivering network solutions within financial services, trading, capitalmarkets or other low-latency environments
Experience producingand reviewing detailed network designs and technical documentation
Ability to engageeffectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
Strong understandingof network security best practices
Nice to Have

Cisco Fabric (ACI)
Juniper and/or Arista
CCIE certification
Firewall migrationprogrammes
Data centretransformation or network modernisation experience
Trading platform experience
Immediatelyavailable or able to start at short notice
