Our client, a leading organization in the region, is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. Demonstrating a strong commitment to leveraging technology for optimal performance, they are embarking on an ambitious initiative to invest in their technology infrastructure.

RoleOverview:
The Network Engineer will maintain second-line network stability, reliability, and performance. You will be crucial in resolving advanced issues escalated from first-line support, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

As our Network Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Network Support

: Deliver first and second-line technical assistance for network issues, proactively monitor network performance and security, and support hardware and software maintenance.
Vendor Expertise:

Provide specialized support for Cisco LAN (including Nexus), SD-WAN, Wireless, Palo Alto, Juniper, and F5 Load Balancer systems. Address and resolve escalated issues to minimize business disruptions.
Incident and Problem Management:

Efficiently manage and resolve network-related incidents and service requests. Conduct root cause analysis and document troubleshooting procedures.
Supplier Management:

Oversee relationships with network and telephony system suppliers to ensure effective support and timely issue resolution. Evaluate supplier performance and compliance with contracts.
SLA Management:

Ensure adherence to SLAs for network systems. Monitor, track, and report on SLA performance metrics, working with teams to address and correct any breaches.
Customer Service:

Provide clear and concise updates to internal stakeholders, maintaining a customer-centric approach to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

What Skills You Will Need:
A talented and driven Network Engineer with a deep understanding of Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, ideally Mist, and F5 Load Balancer technologies
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a second-line network support engineer role.
Demonstrated expertise with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and F5 Load Balancer systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, switching, and routing.
Proficiency with network monitoring tools and techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualified to CCNA level, or nearly qualified

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE
Experience with additional network technologies and vendors.
Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service management best practices.
