Network Manager – Hybrid

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Network Manager to join their team based in Ipswich, on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role offers hybrid working, with 2 days WFH and 3 on-site per week.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the company’s on-prem network infrastructure. You will partner with both internal delivery teams, as well as third party vendors.

Network Manager – Key Skills:

• Experience of IP network management.
• Experience of Extreme LAN switches and configuration.
• Experience of designing complex multi-vendor, multi-technology IP networks.
• TCP/IP and routing knowledge.
• Experience with Cisco Viptela SDWAN.
• Experience in LAN resilience Technologies (SPBM, HSRP/VRRP).
• Experience working with ITIL Framework.
• The ability to produce detailed network drawings using AutoCAD & Visio.
• Experience of datacentre management and planning.
• Experience of Avaya VoIP Platforms
• Convey complex IT problems and systems to a non-technical audience.
• You will have the capability to anticipate potential issues and proactively implement solutions.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the regulatory environment impacting IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on compliance and cyber security.
