Job Description – New Business Development Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced New Business Development Manager to join a well-established electronic security systems company based in Hatfield.

The role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities across CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm and Integrated Security Systems within the commercial and enterprise sectors.

This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading security solutions and develop relationships with end users, consultants, M&E contractors and main contractors, making it ideal for an ambitious sales professional looking to grow their career within the security industry.

Key Responsibilities – New Business Development Manager

• Identifying and winning new business opportunities across London, the Home Counties and the South East
• Selling CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm and Integrated Security solutions
• Building relationships with end users, consultants, M&E contractors and main contractors
• Generating new leads through networking, referrals and business development activity
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to contract award
• Preparing quotations, proposals and tender submissions
• Working closely with the design and operations teams to deliver customer solutions
• Achieving agreed sales targets and business growth objectives
• Maintaining accurate records using the company CRM system
• Representing the business professionally at customer meetings and industry events

Skills & Experience – Business Development Manager

• Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager or Business Development Executive within the Electronic Security or Fire & Security industry
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm or Integrated Security Systems
• Proven track record of winning new business and developing client relationships
• Experience selling into commercial or enterprise environments
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence (essential)

Salary & Benefits – New Business Development Manager

• £55,000 – £65,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
