Job Description - New Business Onboarding Executive
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented New Business Onboarding Executive to join a fast-growing e-commerce business. This role is key to ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new marketplace sellers, helping set them up for long-term success.
Working closely with the New Business Lead and Seller Account Management team, you will play a vital role in supporting new sellers through onboarding, compliance, and early-stage performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Guide new sellers through onboarding, including platform systems, tools, and policies.
* Support seller vetting and compliance checks in line with internal standards.
* Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements throughout onboarding.
* Assist in identifying and prioritising new business opportunities aligned with company strategy.
* Provide hands-on support during the onboarding and introductory phase.
* Help sellers upload and optimise product listings, ensuring all operational requirements are met.
* Resolve onboarding-related issues including account setup, listings, and platform integration.
* Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot technical or operational challenges.
* Monitor seller performance during the first 4–6 months, tracking KPIs and supporting growth.
* Support product onboarding processes to ensure accurate and timely listings.
* Facilitate a smooth handover to the Seller Account Management team.
* Deliver onboarding training sessions to new sellers.
* Work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Marketing, and Compliance to improve processes and experience.
* Produce and analyse reports to support performance tracking and decision-making.
* Manage seller enquiries through customer support systems, ensuring timely and high-quality communication.
Skills & Experience
* 0–2 years’ experience or strong interest in e-commerce or marketplace environments.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and basic data analysis.
* A collaborative team player with a professional approach.
* Experience working cross-functionally with operational or technical teams is desirable.
* Familiarity with marketplace platforms and product listings is advantageous.
Additional Information
* Permanent, full-time position
* Office-based with hybrid working (2 days per week onsite)
* Monday to Friday, standard business hours
