A new opportunity to join one of the leading names in insurance as a P&C New Business Underwriter. It is a key time to join this well known Insurer as they continue to expand their presence in Manchester.

They are therefore now looking to recruit a New Business focused Property & Casualty Underwriter to support the growth and strengthen their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career, help drive branch performance, and build strong broker relationships that will make a big difference in the regional success.

As a New Business Commercial Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in how relationships are formed, developed and maintained with brokers. With a blend of technical expertise and trading capability, you’ll be empowered to make confident decisions supported by data, insights, and advanced underwriting tools.

Your focus will be on developing and delivering profitable growth across new business in key markets by underwriting property & casualty risks profitably and in line with established best practices and business strategy and appetite. This will be predominantly focusing on mid market risks between £10,000 to £100,000 in premium size.

To be considered you will need to bring a positive hard working with a passion for writing new business and building relationships with Brokers. You will need to have previous property and casualty underwriting experience ideally at mid market level.
