This Behaviour Mentor role in Hillingdon offers the opportunity to support KS3 and KS4 students throughout the full academic year, from September 2026 until July 2027, with the potential to extend beyond the initial contract.

This ambitious secondary school has established a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos, high expectations and excellent pastoral provision. Behaviour and wellbeing are central to the school's success, with dedicated inclusion, SEND and pastoral teams working collaboratively to ensure every student is supported both academically and personally. Students with Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs benefit from structured interventions and consistent behaviour strategies, allowing them to thrive within mainstream education.

  • Full-time, long-term contract until July 2027 with potential extension

  • Comprehensive induction alongside ongoing CPD focused on behaviour, safeguarding and pastoral support

  • Well-established whole-school behaviour systems that promote consistency and positive relationships

  • Close support from experienced pastoral leaders, SEN professionals and senior leadership

  • Excellent progression routes into teacher training, pastoral leadership and wider education careers

Behaviour Mentor – What the Role Involves

  • Supporting KS3 and KS4 students through targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions

  • Promoting positive behaviour, attendance and engagement across the school day

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism and ADHD within mainstream classrooms

  • Assisting teachers with behaviour management and classroom engagement

  • Working collaboratively with pastoral teams, teachers and families to improve student outcomes
