EYFS/KS1 Teacher – Highly Supported Small-group Settings

Are you an EYFS/KS1 Teacher looking for an exciting and rewarding new role where you can make a real difference to children with SEND?

A student-focused specialist School in Greenwich is seeking a highly supportive EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join their dedicated SEND team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a EYFS/KS1 Teacher to work with a very small group of pupils in a highly supportive environment.

EYFS/KS1 Teacher – The Role

• Teach a maximum of 6–8 pupils, allowing you to provide highly personalised teaching and support


• The chance for a EYFS/KS1 Teacher to make a difference to students experience and development


• Work with a small group of young children who benefit from consistency, patience, structure and lots of positive interactions


• Work alongside 4 Teaching Assistants, with the potential for a 5th TA where required, giving you a fantastic level of support within the classroom


• Deliver Read Write Inc. (RWI) or Little Wandle and White Rose Maths, adapting delivery and resources so that pupils can access learning at their individual level

The ideal EYFS/KS1 Teacher will:

• Have experience working with children with SEND


• Can adapt teaching and communication to meet individual needs and developmental levels


• Can celebrate small steps and meaningful progress, rather than focusing solely on traditional academic outcomes


• Be patient, nurturing, calm and consistent

EYFS/KS1 Teacher – Why this School
