Job: Accounts Senior 

Location: Kingston upon Hull  

Salary: Up to £45,000 

A well-established and chartered accountants based in Hull is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis. As Accounts Senior, your key responsibilities would be: 

• Prepare and manage Year End Accounts aligned with current accounting standards.  


• Handle VAT submissions using a range of accounting platforms.  


• Prepare and file tax returns for both corporate entities and individual clients.  


• Conduct client meetings to review financial statements and discuss tax-related matters.  


• Monitor and ensure timely submission of Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns.  


• Work confidently across multiple accounting systems including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.  


• Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed. 

Ideal Candidate Profile: 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a UK practice accountancy  


• Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero 


• Ideally ACCA or ACA qualified  


• QBE or part qualified individuals will also be considered
