Chef de Partie – Airline Catering

Location: Glasgow Airport (PA3)

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £14.68 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (Rotational)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Chef de Partie or ambitious Commis Chef looking for fixed, predictable shifts with no late night finishes?

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Chef de Partie to join a global leader in flight catering, based at Glasgow Airport. Working in a modern, fast-paced culinary unit, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality meals and food presentation for leading international airlines.

This is an excellent opportunity to step away from traditional unsociable hospitality hours while continuing to work with fresh ingredients and high volume standards.

Key Responsibilities

  Prepare, cook, and present high-quality hot and cold food in line with airline specifications and dietary requirements.

  Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist in managing stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring proper rotation of ingredients.

  
  


• 
  

  Support line management in maintaining clean, safe, and organized workstation environments.

  
  


• 
  

  Work collaboratively within a busy kitchen team to ensure all flight delivery deadlines are met consistently.

  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 
  

  Experience: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or Senior Commis Chef in a commercial kitchen, hotel, catering, or high-volume environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Food Safety: Hold a minimum Level 2 Food Safety certification (or equivalent qualification/experience).

  
  


• 
  

  Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive under strict time deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Compliance: As this role is based at Glasgow Airport, candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work/education history and undergo a standard background check (DBS).
