Job Description

We are recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to join a well-established business based in Driffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in construction, modular buildings or a commercial project environment to join a busy and supportive team.

Working closely with the Commercial team, you will play an important role in supporting multiple projects, maintaining accurate commercial records, coordinating documentation and ensuring processes run smoothly throughout the project lifecycle.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, has excellent attention to detail and understands commercial processes within a construction environment, ideally with some knowledge of Quantity Surveying.

Some of the Commercial Administrator duties will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team across multiple projects.

  • Creating, maintaining and updating project files, documentation and contract records.

  • Assisting with quotations, Early Works Orders, purchase orders, invoices and applications for payment.

  • Maintaining commercial registers, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, NDAs and warranties.

  • Supporting the preparation of reports, KPI dashboards and monthly reporting information.

  • Liaising with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate information and timely communication.

  • Monitoring outstanding project actions, ensuring deadlines are met and escalating queries where required.

  • Supporting commercial compliance, audits and improvements to internal processes and procedures.

The ideal Commercial Administrator will have:

  • Previous administration experience within construction, modular buildings or a similar commercial project environment.

  • An understanding of commercial processes and Quantity Surveying principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of £26,500 to £27,500, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

If you have a strong administrative background within construction or modular buildings and are looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
