We are working exclusively with a reputable and growing facilities management business that is looking to strengthen its mobile engineering team due to continued expansion.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial sites.

You will be working in a mobile role, covering commercial environments such as retail, offices and other commercial properties. The role will be Midlands-based but will involve travel to sites nationally when required, so flexibility with travel is important.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out commercial gas servicing, maintenance and repair works


• Completing planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites


• Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works where required


• Working independently across a mobile commercial portfolio


• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard


• Providing a professional service to clients and site teams


• Completing relevant paperwork and job reports accurately

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer with a strong background in service, maintenance and repair work across commercial environments.

You will need to be comfortable working in a mobile role and willing to travel nationally on occasions when required.

Requirements

• Commercial gas qualifications/tickets


• Experience carrying out service, maintenance and repairs


• Previous experience working across commercial sites


• Full UK driving licence


• Flexible approach to travel, including national coverage when required


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills


• Professional, reliable and able to work independently

Package

• Salary up to £48,000–£50,000 depending on experience


• Permanent, full-time role


• Company vehicle


• Travel paid door to door


• Monday to Friday working hours


• Callout rota of 1 in 14 (£50 standby payment)
