Deputy Nurse Manager | £45,000 | 40 hours per week | Brand New Luxury Care Home | RGN or RMN | Elderly Care

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to lead and support the clinical team, ensuring residents receive the very best in person-centred care. This full-time role offers a blend of hands-on clinical work and supernumerary hours, giving you the scope to both care and lead.

What You’ll Need

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC pin


• Previous experience as Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or senior nurse in a nursing home


• Experience in elderly care, including dementia and complex nursing needs


• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills


• Knowledge of CQC standards, clinical governance, and safeguarding

What You’ll Do

• Support the Home Manager in daily operational and clinical duties


• Lead, supervise, and develop the nursing and care teams


• Ensure person-centred care plans are delivered, reviewed, and updated


• Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal quality policies


• Liaise with residents, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals


• Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and staff training
