Location: Hull

Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 (depending on experience)

If you’re an experienced family paralegal who enjoys private client work, wants a steady flow of files, and values proper support, this is a great opportunity to join a busy, well-established team.

Our client is looking for an Experienced Family Law Paralegal for their Hull office. You’ll support a senior fee earner and play a key role in keeping matters moving, with real responsibility and day-to-day client contact.

This is a hands-on role for someone who already understands private family work and can confidently support a busy caseload. You’ll be trusted to manage key tasks, keep files organised, and help deliver a calm, professional service to clients at what is often a stressful time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting a senior fee earner on a busy private family law caseload

• Taking client instructions and assisting with day-to-day case progression

• Drafting correspondence and legal documents under supervision where required

• Preparing court bundles and supporting hearing preparation

• Liaising with clients, courts and third parties to progress matters efficiently

• Maintaining accurate file notes and keeping case management systems up to date

• Managing deadlines and helping ensure matters run smoothly from start to finish

What We’re Looking For

• Substantial practical experience in private family law in a paralegal capacity

• Confidence supporting a busy caseload and prioritising competing deadlines

• Strong drafting, organisation and attention to detail

• Professional, empathetic client-care skills

• Comfortable using case management systems and Microsoft Office
