New Job Opening: Head of Finance in London, UK

Job Description

Equifind is working with a high-growth real estate asset manager on their search for a Head of Finance to join their London office in Mayfair.

They invest across the UK market, with a key focus on acquiring single-family, multi-family and retirement housing. 2026 has been a strong year so far, with several more deals lined up to close before the end of Q4.

It's a business still in its growth years, and it moves fast. There's real scope to shape the finance function as it scales, and you'll be trusted to get involved wherever you can add value, not just within a set job spec.

You'll be the CFO's right hand, overseeing the finance team across financial operations and reporting, and working closely with the investment and asset management teams.

This will suit someone who's happy being in the detail but just as comfortable partnering with stakeholders on the big commercial conversations.

Key duties include:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Lead the coordination of refinancing projects for real estate assets, managing due diligence, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication.


• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts packs, providing key financial insights to support decision-making.


• Collaborate with asset managers to assess financial performance, returns, and risk analysis for existing and future investments.


• Conduct financial and operational due diligence for potential sales, acquisitions, and disposals.


• Support the CFO in evaluating financial strategies, business performance, and commercial opportunities.


• Prepare financial reports for investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.


• Lead system and process setup and improvements as part of ongoing platform mobilisation and development.


• Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Application requirements:

• Qualified chartered accountant.


• Proven experience in a senior financial reporting role within the real estate sector.


• Strong understanding of IFRS & UK GAAP.


• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.


• Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
