Health & Safety Partner or Senior Associate

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £95,000 to £140,000 (Senior Associate) or Partner-level package (depending on experience and following)

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Health & Safety lawyer at Senior Associate or Partner level into its Liverpool team, with a national platform behind you. This is a growth hire for someone who enjoys building a practice, leading client relationships, and advising on a mix of contentious and advisory health and safety matters for larger organisations.

Whether you are already operating at Partner level, or you are a Senior Associate ready to step up, this role offers the space to shape the direction of a Health & Safety offering, collaborate with colleagues nationally, and play a visible part in wider strategic growth.

This is a senior role with a strong emphasis on relationship-led work.

• Partners will have the opportunity to develop their practice with national support and cross-referral opportunities.

• Senior Associates will have a clear pathway to progression, genuine responsibility, and the chance to step into a leadership position.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and growing client relationships, with a focus on larger corporate instructions and panel work

• Delivering commercially focused advice across contentious and advisory health and safety matters

• Supporting clients through investigations, enforcement action and incident response where relevant

• Working collaboratively with colleagues nationally to support cross-selling and joined-up advice

• Contributing to practice growth through business development and relationship management

• Providing leadership, mentoring and support to develop junior lawyers and future leaders

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor with strong health and safety / regulatory experience at Senior Associate or Partner level

• Demonstrable credibility in the market, with evidence of winning work and building long-term client relationships

• Comfortable leading matters and advising senior stakeholders

• Commercial, pragmatic approach and strong technical judgement

• Collaborative mindset and appetite to build and grow a practice with national backing

• For Partner candidates: an established following, or a clear plan to build one, is preferred
