New Job Opening: Hygiene Operative in Park Farm Industrial Estate, Wellingborough, Northamptonshir

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Technical Manager and Operations team in maintaining high hygiene and GMP standards across the site.


• Oversee daily cleaning activities across all factory areas, ensuring schedules are completed effectively and on time.


• Lead and coordinate a small team of hygiene operatives, providing guidance, training and support where required.


• Ensure all cleaning procedures are carried out in line with food safety, hygiene and company standards.


• Monitor hygiene consumables and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.


• Maintain accurate hygiene records and documentation for traceability and compliance.


• Support investigations into hygiene-related non-conformances and implement corrective actions.


• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or supervisory role within food production.


• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and cleaning practices.


• Confident leading a small team with good communication and organisational skills.


• Hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.


• Basic IT knowledge and experience with documentation or production systems.
