A successful engineering and manufacturing business in Bridlington is looking to recruit a Learning & Development Coordinator to support the continued growth of its people and talent strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that places real value on employee development. Working alongside the Head of HR and senior leaders, you'll help deliver learning initiatives that support employees at every stage of their career, from onboarding and apprenticeships through to leadership development and career progression.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the delivery of the company's learning and development strategy.


• Coordinating and facilitating induction, leadership and professional development programmes.


• Managing apprenticeship and early careers initiatives across the business.


• Building relationships with schools, colleges and training providers to strengthen the future talent pipeline.


• Supporting managers with development plans and learning solutions for their teams.


• Creating and maintaining career pathways and development frameworks.


• Coordinating internal and external training activities, ensuring budgets and resources are effectively managed.


• Monitoring training records, compliance and development activity, producing reports where required.


• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify learning needs and continuously improve development opportunities.

About you

We're keen to speak with people who have experience within Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR or another people-focused role.

You'll also bring:

• A genuine passion for developing people and supporting employee growth.


• Excellent organisation and project coordination skills.


• The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.


• Confidence managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.


• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another operational business would be advantageous, although not essential.
