The role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operation of the lettings department, managing and mentoring a team, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring compliance across all aspects of the business.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Lettings Manager:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department and overseeing team performance


• Driving new business generation to increase instructions, market share and revenue


• Conducting property viewings and supporting negotiators throughout the lettings process


• Negotiating tenancy agreements and maintaining strong landlord and tenant relationships


• Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and industry regulations


• Monitoring departmental performance, maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional customer service 

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a Lettings Manager position


• ARLA qualified or working towards a recognised industry qualification


• Proven track record of winning new instructions and increasing market share


• Strong leadership and team management skills


• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities


• Thorough understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements


• Highly organised with strong administrative and problem-solving skills


• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
