Job Title: LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR– Residential Lettings

Salary: OTE £30,000 per annum

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client is a successful independent Sales and Lettings agency with multiple offices across Surrey. They are looking for an energetic and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join their Oxted branch. This role offers the chance to play a key part in a busy, successful lettings department and to work with a professional, supportive team.

While prior lettings experience is preferred, the company is also open to considering a more junior candidate who can demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism, and transferable skills from a customer-facing or sales-related role.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the Lettings Department


• Registering and qualifying new applicants


• Arranging and conducting property viewings


• Negotiating lets and managing offers between landlords and tenants


• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with landlords and tenants


• Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and company policies


• Proactively generating new business opportunities


• Supporting the smooth running of the office and team 

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience in a lettings or property-related role (preferred)


• Strong communication and negotiation skills


• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships


• Positive, proactive, and results-driven attitude


• Local knowledge of the Oxted area (advantageous)


• Understanding of lettings legislation (ARLA qualification desirable but not essential)


• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required


• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
