We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing food manufacturer supplying some of the UK's leading retail customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and innovative NPD team in a highly customer-focused role, taking ownership of key retail accounts from concept through to launch.

Working closely with major retailers, you will play a pivotal role in developing new products, managing customer relationships and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from brief through to factory implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from concept development through to successful launch.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail customers.


• Act as the key customer contact for NPD activity across assigned accounts.


• Develop innovative products aligned to retailer and consumer trends.


• Manage product briefs, presentations, customer meetings and factory trials.


• Work cross-functionally with Technical, Commercial, Operations and Procurement teams.


• Support continuous improvement and innovation across the product portfolio.

About You

• Experience within an NPD role in food manufacturing.


• Strong understanding of retailer NPD processes and stage-gate development.


• Confident managing customer-facing relationships.


• Ideally currently operating as an NPD Technologist looking to step into an NPD Manager position, or already working at NPD Manager level.


• Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills.


• Passionate about food innovation and delivering exceptional products.
