Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

£32,000 per year | 42.5 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | All Year Round

Set within a thoughtfully converted building, the nursery combines character with carefully designed Early Years spaces. Inside, children benefit from age-specific rooms that support their changing developmental needs, with resources and activities designed to encourage confidence, independence and curiosity.

Outside, there's plenty of space to continue the adventure, including a dedicated outdoor classroom and gardening patch where children can connect with nature, investigate their surroundings and learn through hands-on experiences.

We're looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team and help create engaging days where children feel secure, supported and excited to learn.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.


• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.


• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.


• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.


• Confidence planning engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.


• Ability to observe children's development and use their interests to inform future planning.


• A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Role

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.


• Create engaging experiences that reflect children's individual interests and developmental stages.


• Support children within carefully designed, age-specific learning environments.


• Make full use of the nursery's outdoor classroom, garden and wider outdoor spaces.


• Encourage children to explore nature through gardening and hands-on activities.


• Support children's confidence, independence, communication and emotional development.


• Act as a Key Person, developing secure relationships with children and positive partnerships with families.


• Observe and assess children's progress and plan meaningful next steps.


• Maintain a welcoming, stimulating and inclusive environment.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently high standards.


• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
