  • A minimum of two years' post-registration experience.

  • Previous experience in palliative or end-of-life care is essential.

  • Strong clinical skills, including experience managing syringe drivers.

  • Excellent assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • A compassionate, empathetic approach with a genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care.

What You'll Receive

  • Up to £51,000 per year (pro rata for part-time, Depending on experience and Non-Medical Prescribing qualification)

  • Full-time or part-time opportunities

  • Flexible day and night shifts

  • Annual leave increasing with length of service

  • Sick pay

  • Healthcare plan

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • Ongoing training and professional development

  • Competitive pension scheme

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life nursing care to patients in community and hospice settings.

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs, developing and reviewing individualised care plans.

  • Safely manage medications and symptom control, including the use of syringe drivers.

  • Respond to telephone enquiries, providing appropriate clinical advice and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate seamless, high-quality care.

  • Support patients and their families with compassion, dignity, and clear communication throughout their care journey.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with NMC standards and organisational policies.

  • Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and continuous service improvement.
