PRACTICE NURSE OPPORTUNITY – BRIGHTON

We are currently looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to provide flexible cover at a friendly GP surgery in Brighton.

This is a flexible opportunity for a Practice Nurse looking for 1–3 days per week, with hours that can be tailored around availability and practice requirements.

Location: Brighton
Days: 1–3 days per week
Hours: Flexible
Computer System: SystmOne

The Role

The successful Practice Nurse will support the practice team with a range of clinical duties, including:

• Wound care and dressing changes


• Long-term condition reviews


• Routine nursing appointments


• Patient assessments and clinical observations


• Health promotion and self-management advice


• Supporting the wider clinical team as required


• Accurate and timely clinical documentation


• Working within practice protocols and professional scope of practice

About You

We are looking for a Practice Nurse who is:

• Experienced working within a GP surgery or primary care setting


• Confident carrying out wound care and dressings


• Experienced in managing or supporting long-term condition reviews


• Comfortable working independently


• Patient-focused with strong communication skills


• Reliable, professional and organised


• Ideally experienced using SystmOne

Flexible Locum Opportunity

The practice can consider candidates looking for 1, 2 or 3 days per week, with flexibility around working hours.
