Real Estate Associate or Senior Associate

Location: Manchester

Salary: £65,000 to £90,000 plus bonus and benefits

Experience: 4+ years’ PQE

Our client is expanding and is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to support a broad real estate practice, with the role shaped around your level and strengths.

Our client is a national UK law firm with an excellent reputation and client base. They are modern and forward-thinking in their approach to work, with a collaborative culture and flexible working.

You’ll join a large national Real Estate group covering a wide spectrum of work, including landlord and tenant, commercial and residential development, investment acquisitions and disposals, asset management, property finance and regeneration projects. The team is in growth mode and this hire is part of that continued expansion.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters, tailored to your experience level

• Supporting on landlord and tenant work, development, investment and disposals

• Assisting with property finance and secured lending matters where required

• Managing matters commercially, including accurate time recording, billing, WIP and delivery against targets

• Delivering a consistently high standard of client service and care

• Contributing to business development and client relationship growth

• Keeping technical knowledge up to date and taking ownership of your development

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years’ PQE with directly relevant commercial property / real estate experience

• Strong commercial awareness and a practical, client-focused approach

• Sound matter management skills and confidence meeting deadlines and expectations

• A self-starting, friendly and collaborative style

• Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems, electronic time recording and Microsoft packages

• Interest in supporting growth and business development activity
