Recruitment Consultant

£28,000–£30,000 + Uncapped Commission | OTE £50,000–£80,000+

Reading, Berkshire | Office-Based | Full Time

At Willing Recruitment, we’re growing our team and looking for ambitious Recruitment Consultants who can hit the ground running and start turning opportunities into placements. Working across the Healthcare and Early Years sectors, you’ll manage the full 360 process – from understanding client and candidate requirements through to making successful placements.

We’re particularly interested in experienced recruiters with a strong billing and business development track record, although proven sales professionals with consistent success against targets will also be considered.

You’ll have an established brand, experienced leadership and a supportive team behind you, giving you the platform to build momentum and make an impact quickly.

What Does the Role Look Like?

• Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy brief through to placement


• Sourcing, screening and representing high-quality candidates


• Managing your pipeline and maintaining consistent activity


• Building relationships with clients across Healthcare and Early Years


• Negotiating terms and converting opportunities into active vacancies


• Working towards clear performance targets

The Track Record We’re Looking For

This isn’t a trainee position. We’re looking for people who have already delivered results within recruitment or a strong sales environment and are ready to make an impact from the outset.

• A strong track record within 360 recruitment, sales-focused recruitment or a target-driven sales role


• For recruiters, proven success in placements, billing and business development


• For sales professionals, a track record of meeting or exceeding targets


• Confidence with outbound business development and approaching prospective clients


• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills


• Confidence working towards KPIs and individual performance goals


• Resilience when deals fall through, candidates drop out or a client says no


• A genuine desire to increase your earnings through your own performance


• The ability to commute reliably to our Reading office
