Regional Manager – Building Control 
Location: Midlands & North West (flexible/home-based)
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Car + Benefits

Confido Consult is partnering with a well-established and growing Building Control team to appoint a Regional Manager to lead their commercial projects team across the Midlands and North West.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a competent Registered Building Inspector to take ownership of regional performance, drive technical excellence, and support the ongoing development of a high-performing team.

The Role

You will oversee a team of competent Registered Building Inspectors delivering a varied portfolio of commercial and higher-risk projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  Leading and managing a regional team of Registered Building Inspectors
  
  


• 
  
  Acting as the senior technical authority for complex queries and project support
  
  


• 
  
  Overseeing plan checking and site inspection activity across a diverse project portfolio
  
  


• 
  
  Driving quality assurance and compliance with Building Regulations and industry standards
  
  


• 
  
  Supporting, mentoring, and developing team members to progress their registration levels
  
  


• 
  
  Managing client relationships, including fee proposals and technical advice
  
  


• 
  
  Ensuring consistent delivery aligned with regulatory frameworks and internal standards
