Staff Nurse – RGN

£19.41 per hour | 33 Hours per Week | Day Shifts | Good CQC

This is an opportunity for an experienced RGN to join a luxury nursing home where high clinical standards sit alongside a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents.

Rated Good by CQC, the home supports older adults with a range of nursing and dementia care needs. We’re looking for a nurse with solid post-registration experience who is already confident working within a nursing home and can bring strong practical clinical skills to the team.

You’ll be responsible for delivering safe, responsive nursing care throughout the day while supporting residents to maintain their dignity, comfort and quality of life.

Please note that this role DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship 

What We’re Looking For

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration – essential


• Post-registration nursing experience – essential


• Previous nursing home experience – essential


• Proven competence and experience with:
  
  
  • PEG care and management
  
  
  • Catheter care
  
  
  • Wound care and management
  
  


• Experience supporting older adults with nursing and dementia care needs


• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills


• Confidence with medication administration, care planning and risk assessments


• Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in residents’ health


• Good understanding of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance


• A confident, compassionate and professional approach

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the day


• Assess and monitor residents’ individual and changing clinical needs


• Provide PEG, catheter and wound care confidently and safely


• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records


• Develop and review person-centred care plans and risk assessments


• Recognise deterioration and escalate clinical concerns appropriately


• Support residents living with dementia with patience and understanding


• Provide clinical guidance to care colleagues when required


• Liaise with GPs, families and other healthcare professionals


• Help maintain the home’s Good CQC standards through safe and consistent clinical practice
